Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Relay Testing & Protection Engineer located in Dera Bassi. The Relay Testing & Protection Engineer will be responsible for carrying out testing and functional testing of relays, executing test plans, and documenting test cases. The engineer will also handle test execution and ensure the reliability of electrical systems through thorough testing and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Skills in Test Engineering, Test Cases, and Testing
- Experience in Test Execution and Functional Testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site in Dera Bassi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in power systems or related industry is a plus
- Distance relay, differential relay, Motor & Busbar, transformer protection, CT, PT Testing.
- knowledge of SCADA
- Preferable tested Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Ashida & GE make relays
- Travelling 75% at different location of Punjab, HP, Jammu, Haryana & Rajasthan
