Nordson Electronics Solutions has introduced the ASYMTEK Select Coat SL-1040 Ultrasonic Cleaning Station (patent pending) to prevent nozzle and needle clogging during conformal coating operations. This system features a programmable cleaning process integrated with a self-levelling solvent system, helping maintain smooth operations and improve production yields. 

This product is designed for manufacturers using conformal coating systems in electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, aerospace and defence, medical device manufacturing, and industrial equipment production. The ultrasonic cleaning station uses a non-invasive method to remove material buildup from nozzles and needle tips without direct contact. High-frequency pressure waves create cavitation bubbles that agitate the solvent, effectively cleaning areas that other methods may not reach. This process enhances production efficiency by reducing clogging, minimizing downtime, and ensuring consistent application while lowering maintenance and repair costs.

The cleaning station is programmable through ASYMTEK EasyCoat 6 software, allowing users to schedule cleaning before operations begin, at the start of a coating program, or defined intervals. Integrated with the coater’s self-levelling solvent system, it automatically maintains the correct solvent level and notifies operators when refills are needed, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
